Gentacin Ointment 0.1% is an aminoglycoside antibiotic for topical application. This ointment is effective at inhibiting bacterial growth, allowing it to treat local skin infections and other bacterial diseases.
Active component: Gentamicin sulfate 0.1%.
Medical effect: treats skin infections, prevents bacterial growth.
Dosage and administration: apply small amount of ointment on infection area / problem area 1-3 times a day. For details in your case please advice doctor.
Precautions and contraindications:
Gentacin Ointment 0.1% should be applied to the affected area, either directly or on a gauze, 1-several times a day. Follow your doctor or pharmacist's prescribed instructions closely. If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as possible; if it's nearly time for the next one, skip it and carry on as usual. Do not double the dosage to make up for a missed dose. If you take too much, speak to your doctor or pharmacist. Keep this medication out of sight and reach of children in a dry area away from direct sunlight and high temperatures. Adverse effects occur in less than 1% of cases, thus watch for any signs of an allergic reaction.
